The vote for Miss Photogenic 2011 was fierce and keenly contested by some schools.Unlike last years vote which predominately had the Eastern schools in the for front, the western schools had the lead this time.The online vote began Sunday, 11 September 2011 and lasted till Friday, 11 November 2011 and had a total of 6660 votes cast shared amongst various delegates from different schools. Also the SMS vote option also had a total 339 votes.
The top five schools were Adekunle Ajasin University,Federal University of Agriculture,Makurdi,Taiye Solarin University of Education, University of ibadan and University of Agriculture,Abeokuta.The Table summarizes total scores of the delegates:
U.I = 1389 + 27 = 1416 votes( 1st Place)
A.A.U.A = 853 + 5 =858 votes ( 2nd Place)
U.N.A.B = 780 + 9 = 789 votes (3rd Place)
F.U.A.M = 586 + 14 = 600 votes ( Tie)
T.A.S.U.E.D = 593 + 7 = 600 votes (Tie)
From the results above, Miss ADELEYE KEHINDE of the University of Ibadan won this years Miss Photgenic contest and thereby becomes MUN Face 2011.The results was announced to the delegates by Mr.Okesina Akinloluwa C.E.O, Pocket Size Systems, managers of the MUN portal via a telephone call yesterday.
He said the vote were conducted in best international practice and free from any manipulations.He further told them that the results were also published online for public consumption and explained that it shows all the details of votes cast.He wished them best of luck at the grand finale and told them that they are all winners.
