  • 1) EDUCATING THE MIND'SET OF OUR YOUNG BEAUTIES

    Author: MFON EDET

Hello to all the organizers of this great beauty pageant event across the NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES. I will like to use this opportunity to commend you all for the positive achievments so far- since the inception of the Miss university Nigeria MUN. I want to advise that, the MUN 2010 pageant should be used as a medium to cascade informations on the wide spread of HIV/AIDS in the Nigerian Universities and Polytechnics, Risks associated with Prostitution, The need for decent dressing in the campus, safe sex practice and the risk of SAME SEX relationship (lesbianism) among female students in the higher intitutions. As we can see, women empowerment is in a top gear today in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, therefore, it is imperative to ensure that the mind'set of our young and well talented queens are prepared to take up the future challenges.

    Best regards,

    Mfon.
